The Five Town Massive is an interdisciplinary arts extravaganza that is affordable and designed to meet the needs of a large community. In the public space of a town hall, artists of all ages share their work with a community of peers, teachers, adults and children. There we create a world we wish to encounter daily: safe, open to discourse, and inspirational to all participants. It is a gateway to independent culture being created world wide, and a showcase for the work that is being created locally. It is training ground for high-school aged artists, and a reunion for those who have grown up pursuing their art. The Five Town Massive has always been an exhibition of independent and personal media in a setting that encourages open dialogue, community building and further creation.
